The Challenge
Amped Fitness wanted its existing gym to feel fresh, relevant and capable of supporting a broader range of training styles.
The refurbishment needed to deliver more than new equipment. It had to improve how the space looked, felt and flowed, while giving existing members a clear sense that the gym was continuing to invest in their experience.
The Solution
Gym Gear redesigned the facility around clearly defined but connected training areas, improving movement through the gym and giving each part of the space a stronger purpose.
Cardio, strength, free weights, functional training and studio activity were brought together within one cohesive layout. Purple-fleck rubber flooring was selected to reflect the Amped Fitness branding and carry its identity through the training space, while new lifting areas and dedicated turf helped create a more polished environment. The upgraded equipment mix also gave members greater variety without making the gym feel crowded or disjointed.
The Result
The refurbishment has changed how members experience Amped Fitness, creating a gym that feels more modern, energetic and considered.
Existing members have responded positively to the improved environment and wider training choice. The refreshed space and new equipment have also generated increased interest beyond the current membership base, with word of mouth helping to attract new members and support membership growth.
Amped Fitness now has a stronger independent gym offer, with a facility that better reflects the ambition of the business and gives members more reasons to stay, train and recommend it to others.
