Gym Gear recently partnered with Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue Service to design and install a new gym facility within one of their fire stations. The project was developed to support the health, fitness, and operational readiness of their firefighters by creating a space that balanced cardio, strength, and functional training options.

The Challenge

The service required a versatile gym that could be fitted into an existing station space. The brief was to supply a range of cardio and strength training equipment, alongside functional accessories, ensuring that the space would meet the varied fitness needs of their teams. Maximising the available floor area while maintaining clear walkways and safe transitions between training zones was a key consideration.

The Solution

Using the provided room dimensions, our in-house design team created a full 3D visual of the gym, incorporating the requested equipment into a clear layout. A 3D walkthrough video and imagery were provided to the client for review and approval before moving forward with installation.

The final installation included:

  • Cardio equipment: T98 Treadmills, X97 Cross Trainer, Tornado Airbike
  • Strength equipment: Rhino Pro Strength System, Elite Series Multi Adjustable Bench

Accessories: Olympic Bar, Rubber Plate Set, Dumbbell Set, Medicine Ball Set, Powerbag Set, Kettlebell Set, 3 in 1 Plyo Box, Powerband Set.

The Result

The completed project has delivered a modern, functional gym for Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue Service. The new facility provides their firefighters with a convenient and well-equipped training space, helping them maintain the high levels of fitness required for their role.
