The Challenge

The club required a training environment that could support a broad range of physical demands, from strength and power development to cardiovascular conditioning and recovery. The design had to accommodate multiple players training simultaneously, while maintaining safe movement flow and maximising the available space.

The Solution

Our team began by measuring the area and creating a full 3D visual of the proposed gym layout. This allowed Burnley FC to review and fine-tune the design before installation.

The completed installation featured:

  • Cardio equipment: T98 Treadmills, X97 Cross Trainers, R97 Recumbent Bike, Blade 2.0 Rowing Machines, Tornado Airbikes, M Sport Pro Spin Bikes, Ski Erg, and HIIT Upper Body Bike.
  • Strength machines: Elite Series Leg Press, Chest Press, Leg Extension, Pec Fly/Rear Delt, Chin/Dip/Knee Raise Frame, Dual Adjustable Pulleys, and a 4 Stack Multi Jungle, supported by Sterling Series Adjustable Benches.
  • Free weights: Hi-Temp Bumper Plates, Premium Olympic Bars, Vertical Dumbbell Set, installed on 30mm Premium Rubber Flooring with ramped edges.
  • Functional training: 2 Station Squat Rig with extension, Studio Functional Training Rig, Powerbag Set, Gym Ball Set, Plyometric Box, and Studio Mats.

Each training zone was carefully planned in line with our four design pillars - optimising the training environment, supporting member progression, promoting connection through open layout, and ensuring training diversity across all modalities.

The Result

The final installation delivered a world-class training space that combines performance, functionality, and durability. The layout supports both team and individual sessions, while the flooring and zoning ensure safety and comfort.

Burnley FC now has a dedicated facility that enables complete athletic preparation - from conditioning and strength to recovery and functional fitness.
