"The new gym gives us everything we need for both boxing and fitness sessions. It’s well laid out, easy to use, and perfect for the kind of training our members love."
— LiveWire CIC
LiveWire CIC set out to create a purpose-built boxing and conditioning space that could cater to a broad range of users. With a focus on community engagement and accessible fitness, the project required careful planning to balance training intensity with safety and flow. Gym Gear worked closely with LiveWire CIC to bring this vision to life, from initial concept to installation.

The Challenge
LiveWire CIC wanted to introduce a new gym with a strong boxing and conditioning focus. The goal was to create a facility that could accommodate both group boxing sessions and individual strength and functional workouts.
The available space needed to be used efficiently to maximise capacity while ensuring members could move freely and safely between zones. Clear layout planning was essential to maintain flow and accessibility across all training areas.
The Solution
Gym Gear’s design team used precise room measurements to create 3D visuals and a walkthrough video, helping LiveWire CIC visualise the proposed layout before installation.
The final fit-out included:
Tornado Airbikes
Modular Rig with boxing bags
3-in-1 Plyo Boxes
Slam Balls, Powerbags, and Kettlebells
Studio mats, battle ropes, and speed ladders
2m Modular Storage Rack
20mm Premium Rubber Flooring Tiles with ramped edges
This combination offered a balance between boxing-specific stations and versatile functional training tools, allowing for both focused and mixed workouts.
The Result
The completed facility provides a professional, high-performing training space that supports a wide range of fitness goals. Members now benefit from a motivating environment suitable for boxing drills, conditioning circuits, and general fitness sessions.
By integrating boxing and functional training within a well-zoned layout, the new gym gives LiveWire CIC greater flexibility to run diverse programmes and engage the wider community.
