"Our new Reformer Pilates studio gives us another way to engage the local community and broaden the activities available at Sale Leisure Centre. The 12 oak reformers have helped us create a dedicated space where we can introduce more people to Reformer Pilates."

The Challenge
Introducing Reformer Pilates meant establishing a specialist studio within Sale Leisure Centre’s wider community leisure offering. The centre needed to turn its plans into a fully equipped space, with sufficient provision for group sessions and a consistent setup for participants.
For a leisure operator adding a new activity, the equipment investment needed to serve a clear purpose: enabling the centre to broaden what local people could access at the facility.
The Solution
Gym Gear supplied 12 foldable reformers, each with an oak frame, black upholstery and an included jump box. Equipping the studio with the same model throughout provides a consistent platform for group instruction, allowing participants to follow sessions using matching equipment.
The foldable design offers flexibility when equipment needs to be stored or the room accessed for cleaning. The oak frames and black upholstery also give the dedicated studio a coordinated appearance.
Delivery and installation formed part of the equipment package, supporting the practical setup of the new space.
The Result
Sale Leisure Centre has opened its Reformer Pilates studio, adding a dedicated activity space to its community leisure provision. With 12 reformers in place, the centre now has the equipment capacity for sessions accommodating up to 12 participants.
The investment has broadened the centre’s exercise offering, giving local people another way to take part in structured activity at their leisure centre.
