Gym Gear partnered with Spalding Police Station to design, plan, and install a new gym facility to support both staff fitness and official testing requirements. The project provided a tailored solution combining cardio, strength, and free weights in a layout that maximised the available space.

The Challenge

The station required a dedicated training space where staff could maintain fitness levels and complete job-related fitness assessments. The facility needed to cater for a wide range of training styles and equipment preferences, while fitting seamlessly into the available footprint.

The Solution

Gym Gear worked closely with the station team to shape the equipment list and design.

  • A 3D mock-up and walkthrough video were created to visualise the space and final layout.
  • Once approved, the project moved to delivery and installation.

The final installation included:

  • Cardio: T98 Treadmill, X97 Cross Trainer, C97 Upright Bike, Blade 2.0 Rowing Machine.

Strength & Free Weights: Sterling Series Half Power Rack, 2 x Sterling Series Adjustable Benches, Elite Series Dual Adjustable Pulley, 2 x Standard Olympic Bars, Dumbbell Set, Rubber Olympic Plates.

The Result

The completed gym is now a highly valued facility, well used by staff for both training and fitness testing. The professional layout and range of equipment provide versatility and support consistent use across the station team.
