StayCity’s Manchester ApartHotel is part of the brand’s growing portfolio of high-quality serviced apartments across the UK and Europe. With fitness now a key part of the guest experience, StayCity wanted to equip their Manchester location with a gym that would feel professional yet easy to use for guests of all fitness levels.

The Challenge
StayCity provided the room dimensions and an equipment list, aiming to create a fitness space that offered both functionality and comfort. The challenge was to ensure a full training experience - cardio, strength, and free weights - without overcrowding the area. Every square metre needed to be optimised for usability, flow, and guest safety.
The Solution
Using advanced 3D design software, our in-house team produced a detailed model of the room to test layout options. This allowed StayCity to visualise the final setup before installation. Once approved, we coordinated the delivery and installation of a complete fitness package.
The gym was fitted with a balanced selection of equipment, including high-performance cardio machines, a multi-adjustable strength bench, a compact free weights setup, and functional accessories such as suspension trainers, balls, and mats. Together, these elements create a well-rounded environment suited to all training styles.
The Result
The finished facility provides StayCity guests with a modern, efficient gym that enhances their stay experience. The design makes full use of the available space while supporting a variety of workout types, from endurance training to strength and mobility work.
