The Challenge
Volair wanted to expand their fitness programme by introducing a specialist Pilates reformer service. The objective was to offer a premium membership bolt-on that would attract new users, improve retention, and generate additional revenue.
Space limitations meant that the equipment chosen had to combine professional quality with compact design, ensuring long-term flexibility and an authentic studio experience.
The Solution
Gym Gear supplied and installed seven Oak Pilates Foldable Reformers, carefully selected for their combination of commercial durability and space-saving design.
Each reformer features:
Premium oak wood frame with foldable functionality
German-made spring resistance for smooth adjustment
Built-in wheels for portability
Microfiber leather carriage for comfort
Double-looped straps, safety strap, and included jump box for varied exercise options
The seven-bed layout allowed Volair to maximise capacity within the available footprint while still delivering a high-quality environment suitable for structured group classes.
The Result
The new Pilates reformer programme launched with immediate success. With all seven reformers in use, Volair reached 100% occupancy from the outset, confirming strong demand within the community.
The bolt-on membership model has created a new revenue stream while giving members access to a premium training option that supports health and wellbeing.
