Gym Gear partnered with the Welsh Ambulance Service to design and install a new workplace gym. The goal was to create a practical and welcoming space where employees could train and maintain their fitness during their working day.

The Challenge
The Welsh Ambulance Service wanted a fitness facility that offered a variety of training options for staff. A wish list of cardio and strength equipment was drawn up, with the focus on making the best use of the available space. The challenge was to design a layout that could accommodate all of these requirements while remaining accessible and functional.
The Solution
Our in-house design team produced a 3D walkthrough of the proposed gym, giving the client a clear visualisation of how the equipment and flooring would work within the space. Once approved, we coordinated delivery and installation.
Equipment installed included:
Cardio: C97 Upright Bike, M Sport Spin Bike, Blade 2.0 Rowing Machine
Strength: Pro Series Dual Adjustable Pulley, 2 x Elite Series Adjustable Benches
Free weights & accessories: Dumbbell set, kettlebell set
Flooring: 30mm Premium Rubber Flooring for durability and safety
The Result
The completed facility provides a versatile space for staff to work out and maintain their fitness levels around their demanding roles. The equipment mix ensures there is something suitable for all training preferences, making it a valuable wellbeing resource for the Welsh Ambulance Service team.
