The founders of White Cube set out to create a studio that stood apart from the typical crowded gym experience. Their goal was to design a facility that balanced high performance with functional versatility, providing the tools trainers need to deliver quality sessions for a wide range of clients.

The Challenge
The founders wanted to provide personal trainers with an environment that offered more than crowded commercial gyms. Their vision was to create a professional facility with top-of-the-range equipment, space to move freely, and the right tools for both performance and rehabilitation training.
The Solution
With a large footprint and a clear design brief from the directors, the process was efficient and focused. Gym Gear’s design team planned the layout to allow multiple trainers to operate simultaneously without interfering with one another.
Key installations included:
Strength training: Two Sterling Series Half Racks for Olympic lifting and resistance band work.
Functional training: Battle ropes, kettlebells, TRX, TuffNut, prowler sled, and a freestanding punch bag.
Versatility: Pro Series Dual Adjustable Pulley for strength and rehabilitation exercises.
Free weights and accessories: Dumbbells, powerbags, slam balls, and medicine balls strategically positioned for easy access.
Flooring: 30mm high impact flooring throughout, ensuring durability, safety, and optimal performance for lifting and conditioning work.
The Result
White Cube launched in January and immediately attracted attention from leading personal trainers, including professional dancer and ex-Strictly Come Dancing star Flavia Cacace. The facility has since established itself as a premium option for coaches seeking a well-equipped, professional environment.
This project highlights how intelligent design and carefully selected equipment can elevate a PT studio into a space that delivers both functionality and prestige.
