Marches School, Oswestry – Shropshire Gym Equipment & Design

Gym Design:

Planning for the fitness suite was key in this project as the school not only required fitness equipment, but also flooring and other ancillaries. The gym planning ensured that all floor measurements were correct and that all equipment was fitted into position. Creating 2D designs of the fitness suite allowed us to work out required flooring quantities and location as well as the size and positioning of additional items such as mirrors. Re-creating these designs in 3D allowed us and the school to have a visualisation of the concept.

Installation:

A variety of equipment has been delivered and installed including a range of Cardio equipment, Strength Equipment, Free Weights, Flooring and Accessories. Cardio equipment includes T98 Treadmills, X97 Cross Trainers, C97 Upright Bikes, a Tornado Airbike and Ski Ergs. Strength equipment consists of a Pro Series Chest Press, a Pro Series Shoulder Press, a Pro Series Seated Row, a Pro Series Lat Pulldown / Low Row, a Pro Series Leg Extension, a Pro Series Seated Leg Curl, a Pro Series Leg Press, a Pro Series Dual Adjustable Pulley, Sterling Series Half Power Racks and Adjustable Benches.

Free Weights delivered include a 2.5-25kg Rubber Dumbbell Set, Standard Olympic Bars and Hi-Impact Olympic Plates. Accessories delivered include Sports Mats. The facility was finished off with our 20mm Premium Rubber Flooring Tiles in areas where free weights will be used.

Outcome:

The result is that the installation of the fitness suite has been perfectly executed to meet the curricular and extra-curricular needs of the students and staff at the Shropshire school.
