All About Getting Turf Tiles for Your Gym

Turf tiles have been seriously having a moment recently. They are becoming increasingly popular in commercial and home gyms across the UK and beyond and we’re really not surprised by their success!

With so many people inquiring about getting turf tiles for their gyms, we’ve put together this handy guide to help you out, detailing the benefits of turf tiles for gyms and the turf tiling we offer.

What are the benefits of tiles?

There are a great many benefits to having turf tiles in your gym including appearance, safety, durability, and more. Below are some of the wonderful benefits of having turf tiles in your gym:

  • Turf tiles are shock absorbent, so they take the pressure off your clients’ joints when they’re doing high-impact training. They’re also slip-resistant.
  • Turf tiles are long lasting and easy to maintain, making them a cost-effective flooring option for gyms.
  • Turf tiles are strong and durable, withstanding the impact of heavy footfall, sled tracking, weights, and more.
  • Turf tiles can really improve your gym’s overall aesthetic. They stand out against the usual black rubber tiles used in gyms up and down the country and can make your gym flooring look more professional and unique and create a focal point in your venue.
  • Turf tiles are easy to clean.

About Our Turf Tiling at Gym Gear

30 mm Turf Tiles

Turf tiles are versatile. They can be used for strength/weight training areas, sled tracking areas, and functional training areas. They’re simple to clean – all you need to use is a stiff brush and a vacuum cleaner.

The 30 mm Premium Turf Tiles from Gym Gear are made up of a 20 mm shock-absorbing layer (made out of recycled rubber!), and a 10 mm layer of sprint track artificial grass. These turf tiles fit in perfectly with rubber tiling and are simple to install.

You won’t need any adhesives to install these tiles into your gym – they have hidden connector blocks underneath that prevent movement and slipping. They come in the dimensions 1m x 0.5m x 30mm, which means that you can make the turf area in your gym as small or as large as you wish.

Alternative Options:
