Bfit Lincs Gym

Gym Gear were pleased to be chosen as the key supplier for Bfit Lincs gym in Caistor, Lincolnshire. Owner Amy Atkins, British Masters Judo champion, wanted to expand her existing gym and move to a new larger facility following the success of her first gym.

Objective

With a new larger space, Amy was keen to incorporate more functional training equipment, and replace the older machines to give the club a fresh feel and introduce more modern training methods.

Design and Planning

Following a site visit with Amy, we took away her vision for the new gym and created it in our 3D gym design software to more effectively plan the position of the equipment and create defined training zones.

Equipment installed

At the heart of the new facility we installed a fully loaded Spartan Functional Training rig with a sled track off to the side. The older treadmills were replaced with our technology packed Gym Gear T98e treadmills, so members can now take a run through one of ten virtual sceneries, watch tv, or browse the internet.

Outcome

The new gym has been a huge success with membership figures increasing and even greater class participation.

New circuit style classes have been developed around the Spartan Rig and new functional training zone. The fresh look and feel of the gym with new flooring and wall art creates a positive energetic vibe as soon as you walk through the door.
