Gym Gear has recently worked with Core Lifestyle & Fitness. Located in Sandbach, this exciting new venture has created a fitness facility catering for private 1-2-1 personal training, group fitness and regular gym memberships. Their aim was to create a community not just a gym, where the primary focus is to help their members become the best version of themselves, through continued well-being and prolonged happiness.
Objective
Sam and Andrew had secured a large warehouse space for this new facility, and wanted to create an open plan training area, that didn’t appear empty. The mezzanine area would be used as a reception / meeting area, the studio room would be used for HIIT / cardio equipment while the entire ground floor would accommodate strength training zones, made up of a rig, selectorised strength machines and free weights.
Design
The main design objective was to get the functional training rig exactly right. Sam and Andrew looked through the selection of Gym Gear modular rigs and decided on a free standing 2 station squat rig. This rig will accommodate group workouts as well as 1-2-1 or individual training.
Equipment Installation
Apart from the functional training rig, Gym Gear also supplied Core Lifestyle with its HIIT / cardio equipment which included Concept2 Rowers, an indoor Sport Bike and a Tornado AirBike, whilst the strength zone was fitted with a selection of our multi-functional Elite Series strength machines.
There is also an extensive assortment of kettlebells, dumbbells and Olympic Bars, as well as boxing equipment, battle ropes, slam balls and much more. A sled track was also fitted, enabling members to train with the prowler sled without damaging the flooring or equipment.
Core Lifestyle is one of the first gyms in the area to fully embrace functional / HIIT training, and the selection of kit on show really demonstrates this.
Branding
To help complete the gym design package, Sam and Andrew requested orange upholstery on the Elite Series machines, customised with Core Lifestyle & Fitness branding.
Outcome
This weekend Core Lifestyle & Fitness came to life. Locals arrived in swarms to take a look round and dogs were even keen to check it out!
