Joint Service Training Centre

Introduction:

This state of the art Joint Fire & Police Service Training Centre is located at the main Headquarters at Butterley Hall in Derbyshire.

Gym Design & Planning:

A layout gym design was created during the planning stage of the project to see how much equipment could realistically be incorporated into the available space. This was then used across both forces to ensure that the list and range of equipment would meet both teams of staff.

Equipment Installed:

Two x T98 Treadmills have been installed alongside a number of other cardio machines including our best selling Tornado Airbike. The facility also benefits from a Smith Machine together with two dual station machines alongside a free weights and functional area.

Outcome:

The range of equipment supplied ensures that the facility can be effectively used for general training requirements by the staff. The T98 Treadmills feature pre-programmed fitness tests which specifically meet the requirements of both the Fire and Police Forces. This includes both the Fire and Police Chester Walk Tests amongst others.
