Gym Design and Planning

The space provided for the gym is an L-shaped room and needed to accommodate a range of cardio, HIIT cardio and Strength equipment. Our 3D Gym Design software was essential in determining the size of rig that could be accommodated as well as creating the 3 different zones of the gym (Cardio, Functional and Strength). 3D visuals were provided to the client for approval prior to installation.

Equipment Installed

With such a large and varied workforce, the equipment installed needed to meet a range of requirements. For this site, our client opted for the Gym Gear Entertainment Series cardio equipment which provides users with a selection of entertainment features including wifi internet, TV, fitness tracking, and Virtual Go interactive programs. Keeping in line with the trend towards quick HIIT workouts a selection of HIIT cardio was installed including the Tornado Airbike and Blade 2.0 Rower. For small group functional training, the Spartan Studio Rig was fitted with a host of accessories allowing work colleagues to train together in a small circuit. A selection of free weights and a dual pulley machine allow users to complete their workout with a large range of strength exercises, hitting every muscle group.

Outcome

The end result has exceeded expectations and delivered a truly exceptional facility that engages and motivates employees. The gym has something for everybody that works at the site, and is a great environment for team building and socialising, as well as keeping fit!
