Central Road Fire Station

Introduction:

As part of the on-going redevelopment plans for Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service, the newly built Central Road Fire Station required a state-of-the-art gym. Following a successful tender submission, Gym Gear were awarded the contract to supply and deliver the required fitness equipment for this site.

Gym Design & Planning:

The gym design was key to the facility being able to accommodate the required equipment as specified by the authority’s fitness adviser. The Modular Rig was one of the key pieces of equipment as part of the facility and the gym design gave the client the ability to visualise the available space within the area for the rest of the equipment.

Equipment Installed:

A wide range of cardio, strength and functional equipment has been supplied. This ensures that the general training needs together with any specific fitness testing can be achieved as per the range of equipment as supplied.

Outcome:

The standard of the gym equipment as supplied has exceeded our client’s expectations and they have since fully kitted out a further two new stations since this installation.
