Gym Gear is delighted to have won the contract to supply the fitness equipment for the new gym at the shared Nottinghamshire Police & Fire HQ facility.
Located at Sherwood Lodge, this purpose-built £18.5 million facility also features a new control room, training centre, canteen and offices for the two emergency services.
The gym facility has been carefully designed to ensure that it will meet the needs of both the Police and Fire Authorities.
Four T98 Treadmills have been installed and these are ideally suited for the fitness tests requirements of both the Police and Fire staff. The treadmills feature the pre-programmed Chester Treadmill Walk Tests for both the Police and Fire alongside a number of role-based walk and run tests to ensure that any required tests can be performed at the push of the button as and when required. A wide range of cardio and strength equipment has been supplied together with a free weight area. The rubber flooring together with the gym mirrors were also fitted by our in-house team as part of the install.
