The Portland Centre

Introduction:

Gym Gear is delighted to have worked with The Portland Centre in Nottingham to design, supply and install a brand new fitness facility.

Gym Design and Planning:

The Portland Centre provided us with a wish list of equipment and the dimensions of the room. With the list of equipment and the room dimensions, we created a 3D design for The Portland Centre. 3D photos and our walkthrough video show you the facility with all of the equipment you have chosen, allowing you to see how your new gym facility will look. The 3D design video and images were sent off for approval before we continued with our process.

Delivery and Installation:

Once the 3D Design and list of equipment had been approved we then moved onto delivery and installation. We delivered a wide range of equipment from Cardio through to Flooring. Cardio equipment installed includes our Gym Gear T98 Treadmill, X97 Cross Trainers, C97 Upright Bikes, R97 Recumbent Bikes, Curve 2.0 Plus Treadmill, Tornado Airbike, Ascend 2.0 Vertical Climber, Ski Elite. Functional Training equipment includes our Spartan Studio Rig and accessories. Strength includes our Dual Series Leg Press / Calf Raise, Dual Series Leg Extension / Leg Curl, Dual Series Multi Press, Dual Series Lat Pulldown / Seated Row, Dual Series Inner / Outer Thigh, Platinum Series Dual Adjustable Pulley, Elite Series Smith Machine and Sterling Series, Adjustable Benches. Free Weights Include our 2.5 – 30kg Chrome Plated Steel Dumbbell Set, Standard Olympic Bar, Standard Black Bumper Plates and a Rubber Barbells Set. The whole facility was finished off with our 20mm & 30mm Premium Rubber Tiles and Ramped Edges.

Outcome:

The outcome of this gym installation is a fantastic new facility for all of the members at The Portland Centre to enjoy. The Notts County Women’s FC have already been welcomed back to the Portland Centre. The new facility has become the team’s chosen health and wellness partner for the 2021-22 East Midlands Women’s Regional Football League.
